What this experiment does
Unlike Around Earth (continuous / daily time), this experiment asks when accumulated lifetime kilometres hit 40,075 km.
Enter age, mileage so far, and a steady weekly habit. The punchline is the age at finish — or the news that you already lapped Earth.
How it works
Remaining km = max(0, 40,075 − lifetime km). Years = remaining ÷ (weekly km × 52). Age at finish = current age + years.
Assumes constant weekly mileage forever. Injuries, rest weeks, and Pacific ferry legs are not modelled.
Frequently asked questions
How is this different from Around Earth?
Around Earth answers continuous or daily time for one lap. Lifetime Earth answers the calendar age when cumulative mileage reaches the circumference.
What circumference do you use?
40,075 km — the same equatorial entertainment constant as the Around Earth experiment.
