What this experiment does

This experiment multiplies a curated film-marathon runtime by the speed implied by your pace.

Runtimes are approximate theatrical (or extended) totals — entertainment constants, not Blu-ray specs.

How it works

Speed (km/h) = 3600 ÷ seconds per kilometre. Distance = speed × movie duration in hours.

Assumes continuous running at even pace. Bathroom breaks, intermissions, and Ringwraiths are ignored.

Frequently asked questions

Are the runtimes exact?
