Uses an average Earth–Moon distance of 384,400 km.

How it works

Remaining km = max(0, 384,400 − lifetime km). Years = remaining ÷ (weekly km × 52).

Average lunar distance only. Orbit varies. Spacesuit, vacuum, and snack logistics are out of scope.

It is a common round figure for the average Earth–Moon distance — an entertainment constant, not a navigation fix.
