What this experiment does
This experiment converts your running pace into kilometres per hour, then matches it to a curated table of approximate animal speeds.
The match is entertainment, not zoology. Animal speeds vary by species, terrain, and how motivated the animal is to escape a race photographer.
How it works
Pace is inverted to speed (km/h). The closest animal at or below your speed wins, with a short personality line for the result card.
Animal speeds are approximate fun references, not peer-reviewed field measurements for your local park.
