Method
Distance: 42.195 km (official marathon). Pace per km = finish time ÷ 42.195. Mile pace = finish time ÷ 26.2188 miles.
km/h = 3600 ÷ seconds per km. mph = km/h ÷ 1.609344. Checkpoint splits multiply the even pace by checkpoint distance.

Limits
Assumes perfectly even pacing — real marathons vary with hills, weather, and tactics.
