What this result means
Treadmill programs are often speed plus time. Distance is the third number. This page multiplies belt speed by session duration. It does not solve arbitrary time–distance–pace triangles; that is the running pace calculator.
Use it when you know how long you will run and at what belt speed. Use the treadmill pace chart when you want a table of several session lengths and race distances from one speed.
12.0 km/h for 30:00 is 6.0 km. The same speed for 45:00 is 9.0 km. 10.0 km/h for 60:00 is 10.0 km. 6.0 mph for 40:00 is 4.0 miles.
A 25:00 session at 14.0 km/h covers about 5.83 km. Change either input and distance follows.
Calculation method
Distance in kilometres = km/h × (seconds ÷ 3600). Miles use 1.609344 km per mile. Displayed distance rounds for reading; internal math uses full precision.
Exact arithmetic. Incline does not change distance on this page.
Belt calibration and pause buttons affect what the machine reports. The calculator is true for the speed and time you enter.
Frequently asked questions
How far is 30 minutes at 12 km/h?
6.0 kilometres, or about 3.73 miles.
Why not use the general pace calculator?
You can. This page locks the workflow to the two treadmill console keys: speed and time.
Can I enter mph?
Yes. Switch the belt unit to mph. Distance still shows in the unit selected in the header.
Does rest time count?
Only if you include it in the session clock. For work and rest blocks, open the treadmill interval calculator.
